About Moe and Mika
Mika has joined Renee Dougherty and her boys (including Elmo, formerly Theo) in Huntington Beach. Surf’s Up!

Hi you guys! My name is Moe (on the right), and my companion’s name is Mika. I guess I’ll do the talking for the both of us. We were found on Highway 101 near Santa Maria so we ended up in the Santa Maria shelter. We really were lucky not to have been slaughtered on 101 according to the volunteer, Christine Varga, who called the rescue about us. She told the folks in Redding that we are really nice kids and deserve a good chance to stay together and find a great home. She is right-we really are good, and we really would like to stay together. Even at the vet when we were taken in to be altered (and Mika needed eye surgery) we let everyone know how much we care about each other. When I was getting ready to go home and passed Mika’s kennel, we touched noses, and she let out a howl of joy-at least that’s what I hope it was! She got to come home the next day so we are together again. As you can see, we are both black horsecoats, and I am a manly size while Mika is petite. She does have a little something going on with her skin, but our foster parents are working on that with a steady diet of good food and lots of love. If you have lots of love to give we would gladly be the recipients. We are very outgoing and love people in spite of our previous owners not providing the best care for us. We are both young adults, although I heard Dr. Larry mention that he thought I was hanging around with an older woman-not too much older though! Anyway, we’re in Redding waiting for some lucky family to come along and take notice of both our inner and outer beauty and welcome us into their hearts and home.

About Eileen
Eileen was adopted by Karen Crawford and will now be living in Carmichael, CA.

You might remember me-I’m Eileen who used to have that horrible growth under my eye. Well, it’s gone, and my heartworm treatment is completed. I am healthy now and ready for my forever home. I just don’t like having my picture taken, maybe because I felt so self conscious about the way I looked before. I am beautiful now-inside and out. I am a fawn brushcoat with a black mask. I am a little shy at first, but I am a very sweet girl and very loving. Please, won’t you give me a chance to show you how grateful I am for the second chance that I have been given?

I’m pretty laid back. I get along with other dogs and people and really just want a family that will take care of my future needs and love me no matter what. I guess we’re really all looking for the same thing…

About Geisha
Geisha has been adopted by Mary Storm in San Diego, CA.

Geisha is an adorable, very sweet little girl. She is a red brush coat approximately 3 years old. She weighs 35lbs which makes her very petite.

My foster Mom can't understand why I was dumped, because I am a good girl that loves to follow her around the house, snuggle and kiss like there is no tomorrow. I am very gentle and I get along well with other dogs and children. I am on the goofy side and look a little cross-eyed which makes me even more adorable.

My only fault is that I don't like to be alone, so I am looking for a home where I will have my person or another four-legged companion to hang out with. If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly friend, I am your girl. If your are looking for two, my buddy Sachi is pretty awesome also. I hope you will consider one of us or both of us and Thank you for looking.

Geisha is being fostered in the San Diego area with Sachi.

About Mr. Bumble
Mr. Bumble has been adopted by Nancy and Bob Cain in Auburn, CA

My name is Mr. Bumble, but I’m not sure why. I came from one of the county shelters in Los Angeles, and I can tell you that it is a good place to be FROM. I am a really nice black horsecoat boy who loves people, and I’ve never met a food bowl that I didn’t like. Since I am food motivated, I am easy to train. I will do anything within reason for a treat, but I do have some pride so none of that “bone on the nose” stuff for me! I get along with other dogs and am very affectionate with people. I still have to have my rear dewclaws removed, but that should be done next week, and then I am good to go. Please consider me if you are looking for a new companion. I promise I won’t disappoint you.
